Recently I posted about this, but removed the post as we realized their were a few details left undetermined. Now that we have everything in place I can announce that Allen Fulmer and I will be teaching a timber framing class. This class will be at Allen’s shop in Royersford, PA and in it we will build joinery for a Japanese timber structure.
The class will feature both machinery and hand tools, detailing how the students use both sets of tools to accomplish the goal of cutting timber sized joinery. It is highly recommended that each student bring their own safety equipment and hand tools.
