Nakashima-Widdicomb Mirror
Repair and restoration of Nakashima-Widdicomb wall hanging mirror. The original joinery was damaged along with splintered sections of the frame members. The framing members repaired and joinery replaced with mortise and tenon joints that remain invisible from the outside.
The frame was reinforced with a supporting frame which has no permanent effect on the original structure (can be removed if needed). The supporting frame allows a wall cleat to be used for a secure connection.
