Western Hand Plane Setup and Use
Learn to setup and use Stanley and similar type (Lie Nielsen and Veritas) planes as well as traditional wooden planes. This class demonstrates sharpening media and technique and covers the finer points of set up and use of western hand planes. Japanese Hand Plane (Kanna) Setup and Use
Learn to sharpen, prepare and use the Japanese hand plane. This class will teach proper setup and use of Japanese hand planes, explaining how to prepare and sharpen the blade, dai body and sub blade. Users are encouraged to bring a new plane, please contact me for recommendations.
