Garden Viewing Room
This viewing room utilizes features common in the traditional Japanese tea room but for the explicit purpose of enjoying the garden. It features non-traditional elements such as glass panel shoji and transom windows but retains traditional building materials and practices. The Garden viewing room structure is built from Port Orford Cedar. The exterior walls are lime plastered and the interior is Shukkui plaster. The roof is port orford cedar covered in copper tiles.
This Building is not fully complete but in the process. Brian Holcombe Woodworker will update the photos of this once the tatami are installed, copper gutters installed, exterior lighting and final detail of the woodwork and plaster completed.
